Awesome ‘Hopkins’!

Thanks to all who watched ‘Hopkins’ on ABC thursday night. The show did well in the ratings and I got a lot of really, really nice responses and supportive kudos. I really appreciate it! I know most of you have a pretty good idea of how hard I’ve been woking on this series and how much it means to me.

Here’s the theme from the show ‘Hopkins’ the ABC series I wrote songs and score for… it premiered tonight at 10pm, hope you were able to check it out! It can get pretty dramatic at points, but I love it – even though some of it is hard to watch.

As I’ve been saying  - the orignal version of this is only about a minute long, so I’ve written more music and put together a special version to put up here.

So Much To Say (Theme from ‘Hopkins’ on ABC)

I’ll be posting the theme song from ‘Hopkins’ up here as soon as the show airs. There have already been requests for the song so I’m hoping it won’t disappoint - the song was actually written as the theme for the beginning of the show.

I’m re-recording parts of it and making it into a full song right now… It’s not the style of music I usually write – we’ll see how it turns out. You let me know what you think…

We made a Video for ‘Goodbye’

I’m so psyched. We made a video for ‘Goodbye’ this past Saturday. Joanna Wilson directed it. I don’t want to give away the story of the video – suffice to say it’s a bit abstract and very, very fun to watch.

I’ll keep you posted. And when it’s done, you’ll see it here first! We hope to have it up sometime this week…!

I have a few songs in the show as well as some music in the beginning. It’s going to be a fun show, I’m sure, although I haven’t seen much of it yet - Eric never disappoints.

CD Release! July 8 at 8pm at Living Room…

I just booked the CD release party for ‘The Goodbye EP’ on Tuesday, July 8 at the Living Room in NYC. I’ll be playing at 8. 

You know, I’ve been in LA for about the past five months and I miss New York. Also, Seth (Ginsberg) will be playing guitar and mandolin with me on a few songs and I’m really looking forward to playing with him.

“Single” people…

Hey there. I’ve been doing so much fun stuff lately for different projects – I wrote a song for Eric Schaeffer’s new series ‘I Can’t Believe I’m Still Single’ which premieres on Showtime on June 22. The song is called ‘Wake Me’ and it’s for a particularly beautiful scene, that I can’t talk about yet ‘cuz it’ll spoil it, and I really love the song now. At first I was just messing around but it’s a really nice dreamy tune…!

Happy accidents are the happiest… well, you know what I mean.
